Thomas J. Seidl, 82, Algoma, WI., passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 19, 2024, at home with his loving wife at his side. He was born April 15, 1942, in Kewaunee to the late Werner and Ethel (Petrick) Seidl.
Tom's family moved to Luxemburg where he grew up and graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1961.
Tom entered the US Navy and served his country from 1961 to 1963, serving on the USS Newport News Ship.
In 1964, Tom met his soul mate, Elizabeth Fett. They got married June 4, 1966, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Algoma.
Tom worked at Peterson Builder's in Sturgeon Bay for 30 plus years.
Tom enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts, hunting, camping, tree farming has always been in his life and just enjoyed the outdoors.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Elizabeth, son Ron (Chris) Seidl, special grandsons John Seidl and Nicholas (Tatum) Seidl; two sisters Mary Seidl and Barb (Dave) Strain; brother-in-law Paul Fett; and sister-in-law Bonnie Fett. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Gilbert and John Fett.
A visitation will be held for Tom at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma, on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Jim Dillenburg officiating. Full Military Rites at St. Mary Cemetery after the Mass.
The family wants to give a very special thank you to Doctor's Pritchard, Neu, Fuchs and Serio for all the excellent care given to Tom.
