Susan "Sue" Elaine (Olson) Beranek

Susan E. "Sue" Beranek, 71, Algoma, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Bellin Hospital.  She was born August 26, 1954, to the late Gerald "Jerry" and Elaine (Lardo) Olson.

Sue graduated from the Algoma High School in 1972.  

Sue married Paul Beranek in Algoma, April 28, 1973.

Sue spent 25 years at Emerson Motors in Sturgeon Bay.   After she retired from there, she worked a short time at the Kewaunee Care Center as the Activity Director and then at East Shore Industries as the Activity Director.

Sue loved to spend her time with family and friends, going on long rides with Paul, watching movies, going out to different restaurants, stamping her cards, and loved her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, daughter Nicole (Ken) Schultz, granddaughter Nikendra, one brother Tom (Kaleen) Olson, one brother-in-law Allen (Kathy) Beranek and many nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Cathy and Dawn and one brother Chuck.

Friends may call at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM., Thursday, October 2, 2025, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. by Rev. Mark Kinney.

Private entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Friday, October 3, 2025.
