Roger Julius Jandrin, 73, Rural Algoma, died Monday May 20, 2013 at his home after a five year courageous battle with an illness. He was born August 1, 1939 in the Township of Luxemburg to William and Mabel (Charles) Jandrin. Roger graduated from the Algoma High School in 1957. He worked 23 years at Proctor and Gamble and was a dairy farmer until his retirement. Roger married Janet M. Wautlet August 1, 1959 in Algoma. During his life Roger collected Nash and AMC cars and also restored Minneapolis Moline and Oliver tractors. He enjoyed participating in the Great Lake shore tractor rally and many car shows across the country. Through his travels across the country, he enjoyed historical museums, especially the Civil War.
