Regina Ann "Jean" Condon, 79, Algoma, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in Green Bay. She was born December 10, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to William and Mary (Walsh) Condon.
Jean grew up in Des Moines, where she was surrounded by tough and tumble boy cousins, who helped her develop a little sass and independent streaks.
In 1962 Jean and her parents moved to Algoma to be near her brother Bill Condon and sister Marge Curtin.
Jean graduated from Algoma High School where she met Lana Bauers Reinhart, a lifelong friend.
Jean worked for Hamilton Industries for 45 years. She had many interests before finding the one that made her the happiest, showing dogs. She traveled the country showing Schnauzers and Australian Terriers with her true "pack" of friends and dogs.
Jean enjoyed continuing education and a good political debate; she was also a longtime member of the Green Bay Kennel Club.
She will be missed by dear friends, Lana Bauers Reinhart, Jane Tenor, Margie Reigner and Wanda DeChateau, five nephews John, Dan, Tom, Mike and Steve Curtin and niece Peg Exner. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill and sister Marge.
There will be a memorial gathering for Jean on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Burial Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
