Peter Joseph Dellis Jr

Peter J. Dellis Jr., 86, Algoma, passed away Sunday April 12, 2015 at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit with his family at his side. He was born May 11, 1928 in the Township of Lincoln to Peter and Rose (Cayemburg) Dellis. Peter married Edna Kroening Aug. 22, 1953 in Kolberg and after one year on the Kroening Farm they moved to Algoma. Peter worked at Plumbers Woodworking in Algoma for over 40 years. Peter was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Local 1521 Carpenters Union. He enjoyed gardening, sitting in the sun, playing with his dog , Daisy, and watching Westerns on TV.Peter is survived by his son Joe (LuAnn) Dellis, two grandchildren Jessica (Brian) Servaes and Josh (Jessica) Dellis all of Algoma; five great grandchildren Ali and Karli Servaes, Alex, Zach and Kelsee Dellis, brothers-in-law Melvin (Carol) Kroening and Orbie Kroening; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edna on Nov. 16, 1977, two sisters Grace (Clarence) Reince, Helen (Raymond) Dufek, one brothers Richard (Lucy) Dellis, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law Alvin (Rhoda) Kroening and Sallie Kroening. Family and friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 9 am until the time of services at 11 am. with Rev. John Moll officiating.
