Patricia Louise Cichon, 84, of Algoma Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2022 with her one son by her side. She was born October 22, 1937 in Manitowoc to the late James and Ruth (Jakobovsky) Fotey. She married the late Joseph A. Cichon Jr in 1959 and they moved to River Grove, Illinois, where the raised a family of two sons and a daughter. Upon retirement from successful careers the happy couple moved back to her hometown of Algoma, Wisconsin, to enjoy a simpler life among old friends and familiar places.
She was a friendly spirit. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin she always had a passion for reading and loved to inspire the same trait in others. Active in the community library, she along with her friends, started the Book Corner. A quaint and popular used book store in Algoma.
She is survived by and her love lives on in her children; Christopher, Ruth and Thomas. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. She truly earned her wings.
There will be a public visitation, Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Agnes by the Lake Episcopal Church, Algoma, from 12:00 PM until the time of services at 1:00 PM with Father Rob Hoppe officiating. Burial at the Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
