Nancy Lee Vierling

Nancy L. Vierling, 71, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly Wed. Aug. 22, 2018 at Bellin Hospital. She was born July 7, 1947 in Hillsboro, WI to Wayne and Hazel (Rowin) Schroeder. Nancy's dad died when she was very young and her mom married Bernard Shaker whom she knew as her dad. Nancy married George Vierling in 1965. They lived in Delavan most of their married life.They "retired" to Algoma where they owned and operated an antique store.Nancy was very active in the local community including the Algoma Optimist Club and the Red Hatters group. She enjoyed her time with family, friends, playing cards and her special trips to "choir practice".Nancy is survived by her daughter Deb (Paul) Worachek, two granddaughters Kaitlyn (fiance Justin) and Kelsey; siblings Linda (John) Brickson, Judy (Pat) McClurg, Wayne Schroeder, Joe (Debbie) Shaker, Ben (Anna) Shaker, Theresa (Neal) Kuhlman, sister-in-law Virginia Lindgren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Family and friends may gather Monday, August 27, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of services at 11:30 AM at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, with Minister Gloria Butler officiating.
