Minette Wells, nee Wolske, was reunited with her dear husband, Donald, on July 4, 2025, at the age of 100 years. She is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.
Minette was born on June 27,1925 to John and Emma Wolske. Her childhood was spent growing up and working on the family's dairy farm in Forestville, Wi.
She married Donald Wells on August 27,1949 and they made their home in Algoma.
Minette was preceded in death by her husband, Don, brothers, Lester, Walter, Erhard and sister Gertrude. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Gladys Wolske and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her.
Throughout the years you could find Minette and Don playing golf or bowling, two of their favorite pastimes. Minette loved playing cards with her friends well into her 90's. Minette worked for many years in banking.
A celebration of life will take place at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 406 4th Street, Algoma, on July 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM. with Rev Joel McKenney officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and mailed to, 1115 Division St., Algoma, WI 54201.
