Michael Alan "Mike" Groessl, 72, Two Rivers, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at home.
He was born July 22, 1951 in Algoma to John Alan and Beth Lorraine (Shaw) Groessl. Mike attended St. Mary Catholic Grade School and graduated from Algoma High School in 1969.
He moved to Two Rivers in 1972 and worked at various places, including Mirro Aluminum, Hamilton and Form Rite. He was currently working part time at Burger Boat Company as a security guard.
Mike loved to hunt, fish and travel.
He is survived by his father, two brothers Dave (Jane) Groessl and Mark Groessl (Barbie), brother-in-law Gary Hareland, sister-in-law Joan Groessl, Aunt Kay Cesar, nieces and nephews, Terri, Jeff, Jackie, Rory, Casey, Quinn, Nick and Ben.
He was preceded in death by his mother Beth, sister Debbie Hareland, brother Mitch and a great niece Aubree Groessl.
Mike was a happy go lucky guy and was ready to help out anyone. His hardy laugh will be missed by many.
The family want to thank his many Two Rivers friends who were family to him for many years, especially Rich.
There will be a graveside service for Mike on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Algoma.
