Mary Ann Marie (Tebon) Theys

Mary Ann (Tebon) Theys, 87, Algoma, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, September 26, 2023.  She was born February 29, 1936 in Duval to the late Fabian Jr and Alice (Bero) Tebon.
Mary Ann married Clement Theys on May 16, 1956.
Mary Ann was well known at the casino for her love of bingo.  She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and she loved the color purple.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Clem; their two children, Randy (Karen) Theys and Kathy (Chuck) Paplham; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren, Nicki (Jason) Haegele, Jen Lukes, Matthew (Bobi) Theys, Samantha Theys, Matthew (Brittany) Solchenberger and Michael Solchenberger; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother Maynard (Diane) Tebon, sister-in-law Sharon Tebon; brothers-in-law Joseph Theys, and Francis "Tootie" (Ruth) Theys and sister-in-law Jean Theys; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Fabian and Alice; brothers Bob and Ken; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Abraham Jr., Dora, Laura, Angeline, Agnes, Marie, Cecilia, Harold, Raymond, Edward and step granddaughter Bobbie Solchenberger.
Family and friends may gather at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Father Andrew Kurz officiating.  Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Mary Ann's family extends a world of thanks to the staff at the Waterfall Health, Paradise Estates and the Concord for the care given to Mary Ann.  A very special thank you for all your years of care and dedication goes to Dr. Marsha Hayes, you are truly one of a kind.
