Mary Brans Obituary

Mary Ann Brans, 89, formerly of Algoma, passed away, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Bellin Hospital. She was born April 10, 1934 in Maplewood to the late Joseph and Barbara (Blahnik) Shestock.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Algoma High School. She worked at a shoe factory in Sturgeon Bay for a few years. She met John "Jack" Brans and were married
Mary Ann enjoyed painting on canvas in her early years, but never pursued her artistry in her later years.
Mary Ann is survived by her three sons Mark Brans, Green Bay; Kevin Brans, NE; and Craig Brans, Algoma; and one sister Rosalie Boudreau, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, son Michael, brother Bernie Shestock and brother-in-law Allen Boudreau.
Mary Ann will be buried in the Evergreen Cemetery.
The Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, was entrusted with the arrangements for Mary Ann and her family.
