Louise Fern Qualman

Louise Qualman, Algoma, passed away Sat. Feb. 4, 2017 at Bay Road Place. She was born August 31, 1930 in the Town of Ahnapee to Louis and Cordina (Krause) Wichman.Louise was a 1948 graduate of Algoma High School. Worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses.She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Church.She married Melvin Qualman July 1, 1950 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2005.Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents Louis & Cordina Wichman; sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Wallace Schlorf; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Eva Jean Wichman and son-in-law Michael J. DeMeuse.She is survived by her daughters Cindy Dombach (Jay) and Lori DeMeuse; grandchildren Amanda and Jamie Dombach and Alex DeMeuse; and nieces and nephews.Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.The family wishes to thank Sue Simon and Jennie Pavlat and the staff of Bay Road Place for the outstanding care they provided to Louise during her illness.The SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, assisted the family with arrangements.
