Louise Dukelow Obituary

Louise M. (Delorit Baudhuin) Dukelow, 88, Algoma, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at her 'home' the Algoma Long Term Care Unit. She was born April 4, 1925 in Forestville to John Sr. and Helen (LeGreve) Delorit. Louise married Harry Baudhuin on October 15, 1941 in Rosiere and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1976. Then Louise married Donald Dukelow July 29, 1978 in Algoma and he preceded her in death on October 12,. 2007. Previously Louise was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, including Communion Distributor and the Rosary Society. She enjoyed baking and was proud of her Belgian pies, she also liked to sew and square dance with the Cool City Square Dancers Club and recently she loved to play bingo. Louise is survived by her two daughters Judith Wiese (special friend Daniel Jahnke), Green Bay; and Lois (Duane) Haen, Cadiz, KY; four grandchildren Todd (Dawn) Wiese, Amy (Mark) Herro, Maureen (Tony) Nellis and Miranda (Brian) Folletz; five great grandchildren Emily, Adam and Ashley Herro; and Justin and Justina Folletz; many step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister Helen (Harry) Chaudoir, Forestville; brother Robert Delorit, Suamico; sister-in-law Laverne Delorit, River Falls, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by one daughter Mary Ann Rass, granddaughter Melissa Rass, her parents, three brothers Clifford, Richard, and John Jr., and two sisters-in-law Pearl Delorit and Judy Delorit. Family and friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma from 9 am, Monday June 3, 2013 until the Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Burial in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery in Namur. A very special thank you from the family to Dr. Anderson, Tina and the Algoma LTCU staff for the wonderful care given to Louise during her stay there. The family would also like to thank the Luke Joski family and Marge Naze for all their inspirational visits they gave to Louise.
