Lorraine Frances Bosman Hrabik, 92, passed away peacefully May 20, 2013 at Algoma Long Term Care, with family at her side,. Lorraine was born March 6, 1921 in the Town of Lincoln, Kewaunee County at her grandmother's house. She was the oldest child of Fred and Mary iDellise) Boucher, On June 18, 1941 she married Clarence {Sonny) Bosman at Precious Blood Episcopal Church. They farmed in the town of Gardner until 1964 when they moved off the farm, due to Sonny's health problems, and moved to Stevenson Pier. They belonged to the Golden Age Club, raised rabbits, grew raspberries and rnade crafts. He preceded her in death December 4, 1971. Lorraine remained in Stevenson Pier to care for her mother-in-law until her death in 1975. Lorraine then moved to Algorna and went dancing at Riverside Ball Roorn in Green Bay where she met her second husband Wenzil (Jim) Hrabik, They married June 26, 1976. Lorraine and Jim continued to dance on the week-ends, go to old timer's baseball garnes, watch the Brewers on TV and gardening. Jim passed away November 2, 1990, Lorraine was a compassionate, loving end generous lady, She enjoyed crocheting and rnade hundreds of afghans and hankies. She also loved her flower gardens and canning with Bev and Joyce and she made wonderful soups. Lorraine, known as Grannie to her grandchildren, loved spending time wiih them as well as Jim's family. There was never a family function that Grannie didn't take her camera to and never missed a photo opportunity, She is survived by one daughter; Judy (Ralph) Rabach Sturgeon Bay. Four granddaughters; Carri (Joel) Emmerich, Green Bay, Tammy (Les) La Violette, Reedsville, Dawn (Larry) Uecker. Sturgeon Bay, and one grandson Steve (Annie) Rabach, Sturgeon Bay. Five great-grandchildren; Christina and Daniel Emmerich, Amanda Uecker (fiance Owen Hubner), Forrest and Bennett Rabach. Sister Joyce Haegele, brothor Ronnie {Bev} Boucher, sisier-in-law Janet Bouche, and rnany nieces and nephews. Five step-sons; Wenzil 'Bucko' (Karen) Hrabik Jr, Jerry (Marilyn) Hrabik, John (Emma) Hrabik, all of Kewaunee, Joe Hrabik (friend Sue) Green Bay and Bill (Jill) Hrabik, Kentucky, Five step-daughers; Shirley (Jim) Blahnik, Two Rivers. Sandy (Carl) Swagel, Kewaunee, Judy Dolan (friend John), Two Rivers, Betty (Jim) Seebold, Denmark, and Jane (Roger) lhlenfeldt, Kewaunee. Brother-in-law; Robert Hrabik, Kewaunee. Also 32 step grandchildren, 52 step great grandchildren and 34 step great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are both husbands her parents, mother and father in-law Archie and Maymie Bosman, brother Milton Bouche and his wife Grace; brother Melvin Bouche and his wife Rita, brother Robert Bouche Sr., sister Valerie Stacie and her husband Jerry, sister Rose Marie Benesh and her husbard Robert, brother-in-law Richard Haegele, Nephews Dennis and Torn Bouche, Bradley Stacie, Robert Bouche Jr. and niece Sue Rhodes. Jim's family; sisters-in-law Laura (Arthur) Brouchard, Ann Swanfeldt, and Eleanor Hrabik. Brother-in-law Bill (Lucy) Hrabik, son-in-law Harold (Bud) Dolan. Grandsons Travis lhlenfeldt and Joey Davis. Family and friends may gather at St. Mary Catholic Church, 118 Church St., Algoma, Tuesday, March 28th, 2013, from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Burial in the Precious Blood Episcopal Cemetery in the Town of Gardner, Door county. Lorrairre 's family would like to thank the staff at Bay Road Place and Algoma Long Term Care for their compassion and care given to Lorraine during her stay at each place.. lt was very much appreciated.
