Lois M. Wills, 77, Algoma, died Tuesday May 3, 2011 at her home. She was born Feb. 23, 1934 in Morris, Ill to the late Ray and Fern (Beasley) Towsley. She graduated from the Morris High School in 1953. Then she attended and graduated from the Nursing School Program from Silver Cross Hospital in Morris. Lois married Richard Wills in Morris on Oct. 20, 1955. She worked at the hospital as a Register Nurse for many years. Then she worked at Tratt Clinic in Morris, Ill until they retired and moved up to Algoma in 1986. Lois enjoyed gardening, bird watching, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her dogs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sturgeon Bay. She is survived by her four children, Mark (Melissa), Alexandria, OH; Mike, Palos Hills, Ill; Matt (Tracy), Morris Ill; and Marla, Algoma; seven grandchildren, Derrick, Tom (Robin), Tim (Ashley), Travis (Molly), Laura, Jessica and Olivia; seven great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Ann (Cliff) Hieser and Mary (Earl) Twait; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard and an infant brother. Family and friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma from 12 noon on Friday, May 6th until the time of services at 1 p.m. with Rev. Cory Dahl officiating.
