Lloyd A. Wolter, 74, Sister Bay, died unexpectedly Monday Jan. 4, 2016 at Ministry Door County Hospital. He was born March 4, 1941 in Algoma to Arwed and Virg (Krueger) Wolter. Lloyd got his Masters Degree in teaching and started out his teaching career in Math at Slovan and Rio Creek schools. Then he taught the next 38 years in Howard-Suamico School District. Lloyd married Karen Serrahn in Algoma on Aug. 14, 1965.Lloyd retired from teaching in 2002 and the couple moved up to Sister Bay.He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Baileys Harbor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and bowling. He was especially proud of his 300 game he bowled a number of years ago. Lloyd is survived by his wife Karen, one sister Rosalyn (Melvin) Bourgeois, Mishicot; one sister-in-law Sandra (Gerald) Mueller, Sheboygan; one brother-in-law John (Patty) Serrahn, Green Bay; mother-in-law Julie Serrahn, Algoma; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bryan. Friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am, Friday, Jan 8, 2016 with Rev.
