Linda L Moreau

Linda L. Moreau, 66, Casco, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 4, 1947 in Freeport, IL. to Dale and Joyce (Stotz) Bucher. Linda graduated from the Freeport High School and moved to Algoma in 1982. She met and married Orville Moreau in Algoma on December 7, 1984. Linda started working at the von Stiehl Winery in Algoma in 1984 and was working up until the present time. She was one of the very few that had the special talent of gauze wrapping certain wine flavored bottles. She did that job for many years for the winery. Linda was a very caring person and always put her family, friends and pets first. She loved singing with her friends at the open mic nights at Red's Rock n Shore. She also enjoyed swimming in Krohn's Lake during the summer and did a lot of dealing with antiques. Linda is survived by her two sons George Nath, Casco (special friend Vicki) and his two sons Ronald and Tyler; David (Kris) Nath, Sturgeon Bay and their two children Michael and Amber; three sisters Sandy Elliott, Roscoe, IL; Lilas (Dennis) Swank, Monroe, WI; and Debbie (Steve-Hugo) Mueller, Algoma; three brothers Robert (Alma) Bucher, Freeport, IL; Thomas (Rita) Saxby, Bagley, WI; and Richard (Doris) Saxby, Kewaunee; his aunt Lilas Portner, Freeport, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Orville, her parents Dale and Joyce, stepfather Clint Saxby and George and David's father Ronald Nath. Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma from 5 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2013 until the time of Remembrance at 7 p.m. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Bellin Cancer Team, all the nurses and staff on the 8th floor at Bellin and to Edye Urban for all the care and kindness they gave to Linda and our family.
