Leland (Lee) Stach, 85, formerly of Forestville, died Wed. June 14, 2017 in Sturgeon Bay. He was born Nov. 13, 1931 at the home farm in Forestville to Clarence and Myrtle (Starr) Stach. Lee graduated from the Algoma High School in 1950. He married Delores Fleming in Sturgeon Bay on Aug. 18, 1951. After his marriage He entered the US Army during the Korean Conflict from January 1952 to October 1953. After his discharge he worked in the shipyards for a short time but his career was in construction the rest of his working life. In Lee's early years he enjoyed singing in a Barber Shop Quartet in Menominee Falls and he also enjoyed golfing and bowling.Lee is survived by his wife Delores, daughter Patti (Greg) Helland, Germantown; seven grandchildren Ryan, Greg Jr. and Dane (Kelsie) Helland, Bill (Emily) Kostka, Gina (Joe) Kostka-Glennon, and Justin and Keith Nienow; six great grandchildren Avery and Aubrey Helland, Kaitlyn and Connor Glennon and Nathan and Madison Kostka; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Ricky, two daughters Debbie Overbeck and Lisa Nienow, three brothers and one sister.Family and friends may call at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville from 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM, Sat. June 24, 2017 with Rev. David Luhrs officiating.
