Keith Allan Strandell

Keith (Mr. Haney) Strandell, Algoma, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Ministry Door County Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1954 in Algoma to Kermit and Doris (Pfister) Strandell. Keith graduated from Southern Door High School.Keith worked at a number of places including; Leads and Deals, Peterson Builders, Bayship, Collins Concrete and his last job was at Algoma Hardwoods.Keith married Jackie Shaw January 20, 1979 at the Tanum-Forest Lutheran Church. Keith's biggest interest were Ford Mustangs, he also enjoying going to car shows, auctions, buying and selling antiques, flea market items, garage and rummage sale items. Family was very important to Keith, he would keep track of every family member and he was the go to guy for all information about the family. Keith is survived by his son Austin (fiance'e Summer Wodzinski), Brussels; his beloved Cindy, Algoma; his siblings Correen Strandell, Darwin(Kathy)Strandell, Lee(Louanne)Fredrickson, Nancy(Clarence) Delwiche, Donna(Ronald)Geitner, Linda(Milton)DeGrave, Susan(Clayton)Shaw, Marge(Dennis)Ullman, Peggy(Alan)Hucek, David(Lisa)Fredrickson, Kathy(Rodney)Spude, Karen Fontaine and Kevin Strandell; many nieces and nephews, and Keith's best friends Doug Schneider and Mike Budysz. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie on Jan. 6, 2004 and two sisters Mary Bacon and Pat Wiskerchen.Family and friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 pm with Rev.
