Kalihan "Kali" Elizabeth Theis, 8, Luxemburg, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her grandparents house in Casco. She was born March 20, 2013 in Walla Walla, Washington to Zachary and Amanda (Martin) Theis.
Kali was in the 3rd grade in Luxemburg.
Kali touched the lives of so many people. She was our beloved, shiny and happy girl. She was the light of our lives and star of our hearts and leaves us smiling through our tears. She was joy personified. Please spread her message of love, dance, laughter and being good to one another.
The things Kali loved the most was her trip to Disney World, earlier this year, playing with her cousin William, princess dresses, swimming, frogs, her animals and root beer.
Things she hated "stupid cancer", when they accessed her port, needles and treatments.
Kali is survived by her mom Amanda and dad Zachary; maternal grandparents David and Dorothy Martin; paternal grandparents Chris and Amber Theis; two uncles and two aunts Brad (Darcy) Martin, Mat Theis and Aunt Jules (Jewelry) Degrave and Kali's dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her uncle Tim Theis.
Kali was a true humanitarian and an example to live by, she is helping scientists to understand Glioblastoma.
Kali will always be a Princess and never a putz.
Family and friends are invited for a public visitation, Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Luxemburg.
