Judy was born on December 28, 1940 in the Town of Union to the late Lawrence and Viola (Baudhuin) Chaudoir. Judy spent her early years as one of nine siblings on the Chaudoir family farm. They thought of her as their second "Mom" as she cared for them while her parents tended to the farming chores. She was a 1958 graduate of Brussels High School.

After graduation, Judy attended the local Teachers College in Algoma for a brief time leaving to pursue a secretarial position at the Raton Church Furniture Mfg. Company. It was there that Judy met the love of her life and the man she would marry. Judy married John "Roger" Robinson at St. Mary's of the Snow Catholic Church in Namur on Memorial Day, May 30, 1960. After marriage, Judy left the workforce to start a family. When her three children were older, she took care of the children of many friends and family in her home, including her own grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as Grandma Gigi. For a time, she assisted Roger ( The Mayor of Chaudoir's Dock and known perch slayer ) in the operation of the Chaudoir's Dock Bait Shop. She also briefly worked at Screen Graphics, Algoma. Together, they spent the better part of 62 years with Roger passing May 6, 2022. Judy spent the last few years of her life at Sycamore Lodge, Algoma, enjoying reading, watching the Packers and Brewers, and perfecting her word puzzle and jigsaw puzzle skills. Family members were fortunate to be able to attend a special party for Judy on the occasion of her 84th birthday on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Judy is survived by her son John Lawrence, two daughters, Lynn (Gary) Clark, Barbara (Steve) Bathke, three grandchildren, Jessica (Martin) Flores, Katie (Jeremy) Roman, Robert (Maggie) Clark, five great grandchildren, Ethan Purdy and Rosalynn Flores, Johnathan Roman, and Elijah and Emma Rae Clark.
