Joanne Marie Ferron

Joanne M. Ferron, 54, Algoma, passed away at home with her family at her side on Friday Jan. 13, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 31, 1962 in Manitowoc to Eugene and Dorothy (Franz) Litersky. Joanne moved to Algoma in 1986 and met Dale Ferron. Tthey were together for seven years before getting married Sept. 17, 1994 in Algoma. Joanne started working at Bay Engineering in Sturgeon Bay as a Marine Draftsman after her marriage to Dale and was working there up until the time of her illness. Joanne cherished her time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed painting and being outdoors. Joanne is survived by her husband Dale, three children Josh (Kelly) Litersky, Little Chute; Michael (Kaylynn) Litersky, Algoma and Helena (Matt) Keating, Janesville; four grandchildren Grace, Mieke, Abbey and Caleb; five sisters and three brothers.She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Ian, one sister and two brothers.Family and friends may call at Lakeside Community Church, E6295 County Trunk K, Algoma, from 4 - 8 PM Friday, Jan 20, 2017. funeral Service 8 PM with Rev. Jeremy Sexton officiating.
