Jerome "Jerry" John Marx

Jerome "Jerry" John Marx, 78 of Horicon, WI. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 26, 2024. If you spent any time with Jerome, he let you know about his love for his family. A very simple and humble man. All of Heaven is rejoicing at his homecoming.

Jerome was born August 29, 1946, in Hartford, WI, to George and Mona Marx. Jerome enlisted in the United States Army after high school graduation with a close buddy, serving from 1966 - 1968, during which he served a tour in Vietnam. 

Jerome was joined in marriage to Brinda (White) Marx, in June of 1969 and they were married for 50 years. Together they were Blessed with three children, two sons and a daughter. and further Blessed with six grandchildren (and fur grandbabies). They all were the joys of his life. Divorced in February 2020, he never remarried. 

He enjoyed his routine that included weekly Friday night fish fries, time with family and movies in the quiet of his home.

Jerome is survived by his children, grandchildren and one brother Donald Marx. He is preceded in death by his parents and other siblings.

Jerome is the cherished father of Tim (Diane) Marx, Dan (Tara Ekstein) Marx, both of Milwaukee, WI, and April (Marx) Suminski of McFarland, WI. He is the loving grandfather of Zach, Emily, Tyler, Morgan, Maeve and Mila. Dear brother of Donald Marx. He is further survived by step-granddaughter Victoria, step-great-grandchildren Xander and Luna, other relatives, friends and "Fur-grandbabies".

He was preceded in death by his parents and other siblings.

Per Jerome's wishes there will be private family services.
