James M. Frihart, 78 went to be with his Savior on Friday night, January 17, 2025. He went home with his family by his side at Door County Medical Center.
Jim was born on December 26, 1946, to Leonard and LaVerne (Michaels) Frihart in Omro, Wisconsin.
He married the love of his life, Susan Griese (Albertson) on July 18, 1998.
Jim worked at Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, and various retail stores in Sturgeon Bay area until he retired.
He is survived by his Wife Susan and his children, Fathom (Josh) Hamilton, Chris (Becky) Frihart, and Samantha Avery. Jim has ten grandchildren. Jim also has a very favorite nephew Larry (Chen) Harris.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Leonard and LaVerne, a brother Daniel Frihart, a sister Nancy Benteone, sons Robert Frihart and Louis Griese.
The family would like to thank Door County Medical Centers, ICU for all of the help and care they gave Jim as he prepared for his journey to his Savior.
Grieving for Jim will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with a short service to follow with Rev. Mark Kinney officiating.
Jim will be laid to rest with his parents, siblings, and son in Oshkosh on January 23, 2025, at Lake View Cemetery in Oshkosh.
