James Fenske Obituary

James E Fenske (Jim), 76, Algoma, passed away May 7, 2015 peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He was born Dec. 7, 1938 to LeRoy and Viola Fenske. On May 13, 1961 he married Patricia Robinson. Jim was a devoted father and husband who cherished his six grandchildren. Jim was a veteran who served in Korea in 1963. He also loved to play softball and did so until he was 62 years old.Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years Patricia, his three children Jamie (Brenda) Fenske, John (Jane) Fenske and Kathy (John) Gregorich; six grandchildren Josh Fenske (Moriah; Eric Fenske, Trevor Fenske, John Gregorich, Jordan Fenske and Megan Gregorich; brothers-in-law Roger (Judy) Robinson, Bob (Sandy) Robinson and Nick Wasilkoff; one sister-in-law Jane Fenske, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy and Viola, brother Lee Fenske, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Virginia Robinson, sister-in-law Peggy Massart-Wasilkoff and brother-in-law Harvey Massart.Family and friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, from 2 p.m., Tuesday May 12th until the time of the Memorial Service at 5 p.m., with Rev Gloria Butler officiating.Military honors will take place after the service at the funeral home.Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.schinderle.com
