James Lee Braun, 76, Casco, passed away unexpectedly, Friday July 7, 2023, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay. He was born January 24, 1947, in Algoma to Earl and Jeanette (Plinsky) Braun.
James graduated from the Algoma High School in 1965. He worked many years at Palmer Johnson's in Sturgeon Bay. Then he owned and operated his own business, JL Braun Construction for many years, while farming.

James is survived by his daughter Laura (Chad) Gilsoul, Green Bay and his son Jonathan (Karla) Braun, Shawano; four grandchildren Aime, Allyson, Autumn and Wyatt; one brother and one sister; one sister-in-law; many nieces and nephews and his special "furry" friend Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry.
It was James request not to have any type of service.
James children want to give a very special thank you to his niece Debbie Dart for her unconditional love, taking care of all his affairs and her kindness to James.
