Heroldean Uecker

Heroldean H. Uecker, 79, Algoma, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit. She was born July 10, 1932 in Sturgeon Bay to Harold and Evelyn (Oenes) DeJardine. She attended the Algoma High School, but graduated from the Sturgeon Bay High School. Heroldean was married and was blessed with five children. She stayed at home to raise her children. She enjoyed bird watching, reading, knitting, crocheting, her flowers and cats. In her later years she did home visits to elderly people to help them out. Heroldean is survived by her five children Karla (Jeff) Chaudior, Weyauwega; Deena (Randy) Bellin, Green Bay; Ed (Meri) Uecker, Casco; Marcia (Ed) Cross, Algoma; and Angel (Jamie) Baudhuin, Algoma; 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters Jenita Mullen and Mavis Hoover. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and sister-in-law Gerald (Dixie) DeJardine and brother-in-law Robert Mullen. There will be a Memorial gathering Friday, April 27, 2012 at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma from 9 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
