Helen Schiesser, age 85, Algoma, passed away August 4th, 2012. She was born on April 25th, 1927 in Foresttville to the late Emil and Anna (Duwe) Wilke. She worked about 3 years at Amity Leather, Sturgeon Bay. Helen married Elmer Schiesser on June 9th, 1951 in Forestville. They owned a diary farm in Kodan. Helen is survived by her husband of 61 years, Elmer; daughter, Darlene; two sons, James and Dale, all of Algoma. She is further survivied by a sister, Ruth Burmeister and sister-in-law, Marie Schiesser and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by father and mother-in-law, Fred and Frieda Schiesser, two brothers Leonard Wilke and Marvin Wilke; one sister Verna Laurent. She was preceded in death by in-laws, Victor Laurent, Harold Burmeister, Barbara Wilke, Harold and Arvilla Harmann and Marvin Schiesser. Family and friends may gather at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 4-7p.m. Tuesday, August 7th. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 8th at 10a.m. until the time of service at 11:00a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Algoma with the Rev. John Moll officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
