Helen E. Fahs, 99, Luxemburg, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born January 25, 1923, in the Town of Lincoln to Anton and Bessie (Spacek) Koss.
Helen married Rhynold Fahs on June 14, 1944.
Helen was a busy wife and mother, when her children were young, she worked part time jobs, such as baking many Belgian Pies for Schneider's Triangle, sewing many gingham aprons and later after her family was grown, she made many beautiful quilts, pillows and potholders.
Helen is survived by her three children Ken (Charlene), Dale and Norene (Mike) Giese; seven grandchildren Sheryl Fahs, Jim Fahs, Julie Fahs (special friend Matt), Suzie Leist, Stacie Kuchta-Leist, Jeff (Tina) Joachim, Nicole Joachim; step grandchildren Michele (Mike) Rose, Carma Giese (special friend Troy), Quincy (Stacy) Giese; nine great grandchildren Sarah (Joshua) Ericson, Hilliary Kuchta, Olivia Kuchta, Allicen Leist, Jaxen Leist, Jakob Joachim, Eric Joachim, Landon Joachim and Bella Joachim; 11 step great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren Caleb, Haley, Carsyn and Abby; Goddaughter Nancy Loberger and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rhynold, son Dean, grandsons Dan Leist, David Fahs and Chris Joachim; two brothers Henry and Marcel; In laws Sylvester and Elsie Fahs and Dorothy and Ornie Salzseider and nephew Arnold Fahs.
There will be a public visitation for Helen on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rankin, with Rev. Dr. Christopher Jackson officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
