Helen Marie Entringer, 94 of Algoma, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2015, at Bellin Hospital. The daughter of Fred and Veronica (Goladka) Dubratz, born November 11, 1921 in Algoma. She is a graduate of Algoma High School. On September 4, 1951 she married Edward J. Entringer at St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked for US Plywood for ten years and then occasionally for Kruger Concrete. Helen was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, active with the PTA of St. Mary Catholic School, past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, member and Secretary of Kewaunee County Republican Party, appointed Chairman for Algoma United Nations Day, October 24, 1968. She taught piano, sang for many weddings and funerals. For many years Ed, Helen and Fred placed flags on veterans graves for Memorial Day Services in local cemeteries.She is survived by her son Fred Entringer of Algoma; special friends Tim and Cheryl Zastrow of Algoma. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward, July 1998. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, 118 Church Street, Algoma, after 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015, with services held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Algoma.
