Grace LeBotte, 76., Algoma, passed way unexpectedly, Tuesday, Jan 29, 2013 at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit. She was born May 10th, 1936 in Door county to Harold and Virgil (Sawdo) Gerdmann. Grace married William LeBotte in Sturgeon Bay on Sept. 3, 1955 and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1991. Grace had volunteered at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit to help with all the activities that were done at the nursing home and she also volunteered at the Algoma Elementary School. She was a member of St. Agnes By the Lake Episcopal Church and the Women's Guild. She took pride in watching her grandchildren and baby sitting for many of her friends. Grace is survived by her two sons Bob LeBotte and Bill LeBotte Jr.; four daughters Dawn LeBotte,. Crystal LeBotte, Barb LeBotte and her special friend Dennis and Lisa (Ed) Duerst; grandchildren Brett LeBotte, Kaylyn LeBotte, Robert Jr. LeBotte, Matt LeBotte and Jackie LeBotte all of Algoma; Lori (Neil) Kinnard and their children Amanda, Amber and Dustin all of Brussels; two brothers Harold (Cathy) Gerdmann and Elton (Sue) Gerdmann; one sister Arlene (Edward) Fager; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Mary Ann, father and mother-in-law Nettie (Melvin) DuPont, one brother and two sisters-in-law James (Judy) Gerdmann and Rose Glando. Friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 and after 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes By the Lake Episcopal Church until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Hoppe officiating. Prayer service 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
