Ernest "Gary" Carlton

Ernest "Gary" Carlton, 71, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 11, 2022.
He was born October 31, 1950, in Marquette, Michigan to Ralph and Rosalie (Gamble) Carlton.  He graduated from Marquette Senior High School.  
Gary worked several jobs over the years and retired from Valley Cabinet in DePere and lived out his retirement in Algoma.
He had a great love of art, wildlife and taking pictures.  He was a very talented artist including winning an award for his work.  
Gary's greatest joy in life was spending time with family, especially his six beautiful great grandchildren who never failed to make him laugh and put a smile on his face.
Gary is survived by his two daughters Wendy (Jeremy) and Heather (Emilio); two granddaughters Andrea (Leo) (Jacob) and Amber (Nathan); six great grandchildren Riley, Jasper, Bentley, Phoenix, Kingstin and Nikola; his special pets Jooty, Nova, Roscoe and Dante.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and many other family members.
There will be a public visitation, Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
