Elizabeth "Betty" Pinchart

     Elizabeth "Betty" Pinchart, 91, passed away, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit.

     She was born June 7, 1931, in Algoma to Elmer and Marcella (Charles) Lardo.  Betty graduated from the Algoma High School in 1949.  She was selected at a Badger State Representative for the Algoma High School.  Betty worked for a short time at the Wood Industries in Algoma and then she was employed at the US Plywood and then Algoma Hardwoods for 17 years.  She married William "Bill" Pinchart, November 4, 1950, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma.

     Betty enjoyed sewing, which included 100's of bibs for the Algoma Nursing Home, collecting teddy bears, cooking and going to rummage sales.
She is survived by her two sons Steve (Linda) and Scott (Sharon); grandson Corey (Michelle) and her two great grandchildren Brooklyn and Blake; one sister Janice Lehnert, brother-in-law Lloyd (Ella "Gloria") Pinchart and nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 13, 2000, one sister Elaine (Jerry) Olson, brother-in-law Roy Lehnert, two nieces Cathy and Dawn and one nephew Chuck.

     There will be a public visitation, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Schinderle Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until the time of services at 6:00 PM with Father Alvan Amadi officiating.  Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
