Eleanor R. Bohman

Eleanor R. Bohman, 100, Algoma, died peacefully, Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at Bellin Hospital. She was born May 3, 1916 in Kewaunee County to William and Viola (Sell) Kirchman. Eleanor married Joseph Bohman May 15, 1946 in Algoma and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1994. Eleanor was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxillary.She is survived by her son Chuck (Cindy) Bohman, Algoma; and Sandy Bohman, Green Bay; two grandchildren Heath (Kathy) Bohman and Carisa (Brian) Baker; four great grandchildren Joey and Evelyn Bohman and Chase and Jackson Baker; two sisters Violet McCosky and Shirley Kirchman both of Algoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, daughter Mary Bohman on May 8, 2014, sister Florence (Del) Weber; brother Lloyd (Mary) Kirchman; brother-in-law John McCosky; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George (Ella) Bohman, Edward (Agatha) Bohman, Frank (Colette) Bohman, Elmer Bohman and Henry (Marion) Schoenborn.Family and friends may gather at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, from 9 am - until the time of services at 11 am, Monday Aug. 29, 2016, with Rev. John Moll officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.Memorials may be made out to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or St. Paul's School in memory of Eleanor.the family would like to thank all the staff at Bay Road Place for all the care and kindness given to Eleanor since 2012.
