Dorie Jeanne (Busse) Crews

Dorie Jeanne Crews, 84, Algoma, passed away at home, May 8, 2024. 

She was born April 29, 1940, in Green Bay to Robert and Doris (Hammer) Busse.  As a young girl her family moved to Milwaukee.  She eventually moved back to her home in Algoma.

Dorie enjoyed playing cards and buying things off the internet.

Dorie loved her dogs and would send donations for the welfare of dogs around the area.

She is survived by her children, Scott MacKenzie and Todd DeMeuse; one granddaughter Megan; one great-grandson Daven; brother Curtis Busse, sister Lois Williamsen; all of her special nieces and nephews, including Lori Delain and Gary Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Busse and sister Phyllis Bartz. 

There will be a public visitation on Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Paul's Lutheran church from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Rev John Moll officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.
