Donna LaVerne Bergemann, (nee Miller), 86, Algoma passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at her daughter's home. She was born October 25, 1926 in Algoma to William and Della (Holdorf) Miller. Donna married Gerhardt Bergemann at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay on May 24, 1947. The couple owned and operated Jerry's Northside Tap for eight and a half years. Donna was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards and working on crafts. Donna is survived by her three daughters Sherry (Thomas) Fordham, Kentucky; Dawn (Larry) Dachelet, Algoma; and Kim (Burt) Harding, Algoma; one daughter-in-law Alice Bergemann; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one brother Dallas (Ella) Miller, Green Bay; and one sister Romaine Nelson, DePere. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerhardt, one son Terry Bergemann, one granddaughter Mellisa Bergemann, two sisters Dorothy Haen and Mildred Englebert and one brother Harold Miller. Family and friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, from 9 am Tuesday, September 18, 2012 until the time of services at 11 am with Rev. John Moll officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
