Donald J. Zellner, 64, Algoma, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. He was born January 19, 1948 in Thiry Daems to Richard and Rosella (Wery) Zellner. He graduated from the Kewaunee High School in 1966, and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1969. He then owned and operated a dairy farm in Kewaunee County, and has owned and operated Zellner Enterprises in Algoma for the past 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Don's pride and joy was his family, fishing in his pond and watching Nascar. Donald is survived by nine children: Joseph Zellner and his daughter Ashley; Johnathan (Lisa McGrady) Zellner and their children Bryan and Nicholas; Robin (Jim) Kinstetter and their children Leanna and Nathan; Jason (Rachael) Zellner and their daughter Ava Trevor; the four childrens mother Diane Zellner; stepchildren Dena Teska and her children Christian Laes, Darian and Damon Brown; Jamie (Tony) Stahl and their children Jadacey, McKeown and Gabrielya; Dean (Jenna) Teska and their children Davin and Daylia; Danielle Teska; the mother of the stepchildren, Pamela Pride; and his little son and the light of his life Isiah Zellner and his mother Samatha Konitzer; special friend Brenda Goodwin; Donald's father Richard Zellner; one brother David (Margie) Zellner; sisters Donna (Pat) Flanagan and Karen (David) Frisque; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews; and countless friends. Donald was preceded in death by his mother Rosella and three infant sisters. Friends may gather at the Schinderle Funeral Home from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 and after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Norman with full military rites. Donald always had a joke and a smile and was quick to give help to anyone who needed it.
