Dianne Josephine Brans, 79, Algoma, formerly of Forestville, died Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Waterfall Health of Algoma (formerly Algoma Long Term Care Unit).
Dianne was born may 23, 1945 in Kodan to the late Walter Sr. and Josephine (Chaudoir) Deprez. Dianne lived her entire childhood on the family farm with her parents and six siblings.
Dianne married the late William Marvin Brans Jr. on August 2, 1969, in Algoma. She worked at the U.S. Plywood until the adoption of their daughter, Michelle in 1974, when she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. They adopted Matthew, their son in 1981, and resided at the home in Forestville.
Dianne resided at the home until her health deemed it necessary to live at Waterfall Health where she spent the last 25 years.
Dianne is survived by her daughter Michelle (Thomas) Denil, Algoma, and her son Matthew (Jenny) Brans, Combined Locks; three grandsons Brandon, Cole and Carson and one granddaughter Morgan; one sister Carol Iwen, Algoma; three brothers Kenneth (Sally) Deprez, Green Bay, Mark (Carol) Deprez, Hartland, and Allen (Sue) Deprez Algoma; two sisters-in-law Janice Robinson, Kewaunee and Margaret (David) Ferron, Kewaunee; many nieces, nephews and friend that became part of Dianne's family circle.
She was preceded in death by husband William, parents Walter Sr. and Josephine, two brothers James and Walter and two brothers-in-law Ronald and Virgil.
Family and friends will gather at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Deacon Mark Hibbs officiating.
Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Nicolet Memorial Gardens in the Town of Scott to follow the service.
The family wishes to thank each and everyone of the exceptional caregivers who over the years took such great care of our mom. You will forever hold a special place in our heart. Michelle and Matthew.
