David B. Kuhlmann, 69, Algoma, passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2024, at home.
He was born January 18, 1955, in Chicago, IL., to the late Robert and Fern (Lund) Kuhlmann. David lived in Chicago until 1975, when he moved to the Algoma area.
He worked as a crane operator for Bay Ship Builders in Sturgeon Bay for 40 years.
David enjoyed his motorcycle riding until he was physically unable to do it anymore, camping with his stepchildren and spending time with his friends at City Limits.
David is survived by his stepchildren Karra Prudhomme, Sheila (Nathan) Wolf, Aremy (Heidi) Griese and Pamela Griese; many grandchildren; nephew Ryan Kuhlmann and niece Dana Zeigler; and his ex-wife and caregiver for many years, Gina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Roy and Robert Kuhlmann.
There will be a public visitation for David on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 4 PM until the time of services at 6 PM with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Burial will take place on Friday, June 7 at Fairview Memorial Park in Illinois.
