Clarence (Jr.) Stach, 77, Algoma, died unexpectedly, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1935 in Door County to Clarence and Myrtle (Starr) Stach.Jr. graduated from the Algoma High School and entered the Marine Corp. After his discharge from the Marines he moved back to the family farm in Forestville.Jr. married Lois Brann in Algoma on April 9, 1966.Jr. drove truck for Lee Bretl, Algoma Lumber Co., Bouche Trucking, Boulanger's and N.E. W. Plastics until his retirement in 1998. Jr. enjoyed his time watching his children and now his grandchildren play sports in grade school and high school. He also loved to bowl, golf, travel, play cards and shoot trap. He was a member of the Black Ash Gun Club, Kodan Investment Club, Algoma Boat Club, Alaska Golf League. and the AmVets Post 42. Survivors in include his wife Lois, one daughter Kelly (Tim) Schmidt, Algoma; one son Jeff (Amy) Stach, New Franken; four grandchildren, Taylor and Tori Schmidt, Chase Thielke and Madilyn Stach; one brother Leland (Dee) Stach, Forestville; one brother-in-law Vee Jay Brann, Florida; one sister-in-law Dolly Brann, Illinois; one aunt Ione Starr, Algoma and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter Meredith Leigh Stach, two brothers and one sister-in-law Charles and John (Judy) Stach, one sister and brother-in-law Delores (Karl ) Puder, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bob (Pat) Brann Richard Brann and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law Helen(Bud) Gibson. Friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 with a Veteran's Prayer Service at 6 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Rev. Karl Brewer officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma with full military rites.
