Cami Burmeister, 47, Algoma, died at home unexpectedly, Wed. Oct. 5, 2016. She was born July 3, 1969 to Russell and Ann (Johnsrud) Ostrand in Algoma. Camranh's name was chosen for her because her father was stationed in Camranh Bay, Viet Nam in 1969.In Cami's earlier years she loved to snowmobile with her uncle Norman. She was always daddy's girl. She was the manager for the girls basketball team while in high school. After high school she attended college for three semesters. Cami's ability to organize special events were evident in her many years in bar managementShe married Joe Burmeister Sept. 28, 1996 at the Tanum-Forest Lutheran Church. Cami was proud of her stepchildren Brian, Missy, and Mandy Burmeister.She was involved in a bowling, pool and dart league. Cami is survived by her mother Ann Ostrand, Sturgeon Bay; brother Russell (Tina) Ostrand, Green Bay; her children Brian (Kristi) Burmeister, Luxemburg, Melissa Burmeister (Nathan Strohfeldt), Marinette, and Mandy (Keith) Dechaine, Oshkosh; 6 grandchildren; maternal grandmother Nedra Johnsrud, Sturgeon Bay; 11 Aunts and Uncles; nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, father, brother Rodney, three paternal grandparents and one maternal grandparent.Friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, Friday, Oct 14, 2016 from 4 PM - 8PM and after 10 AM Sat. at Tanum-Forest Lutheran Church until the services at 11 AM, with Rev.
