Beatrice Marie Malcore

Beatrice M. Malcore, 96, Town of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Monday, July 28, 2014 at Linden Manor in Kewaunee after a short illness. She was born May 12, 1918 to Joseph and Mary (Barta) Vandertie.Beatrice married Norman Malcore June 13, 1935 at St. Peter's Church in Lincoln. The couple operated a gas station in Dyckesville for a short time, then they moved to the Malcore family farm in Lincoln where they farmed until retirement. Norman preceded her in death on July 12, 1983.Beatrice enjoyed gardening, sewing and painting ceramics. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln and St. Ann's Alter Society.She is survived by her two daughters Carol (Alvin) Jorgensen, Casco; Betty (Jim) Jadin, Luxemburg; three grandchildren Randy Jorgensen (special friend Nancy), Lynn (Brian) Seidl and Jerome (Tina) Jadin; four great grandchildren Sarah (Brent) Te Kulve, Brent (Jessica) Seidl, Jordan Jadin and Jared Jadin, many nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by two brothers Clarence (Irene) Vandertie and Morse (Millie) Vandertie; three sisters Loletta (Victor) Schlise, Eva (Richard) Fett and Jean (Virgil) Lonergan; three brothers-in-law John (Rose) Malcore, Alvin (Edna) Malcore and Joseph (Libby) Malcore and one sister-in-law Beatrice (Matt) Koss.Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 and after 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frank Sherry and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Prayer service 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
