Allen Jeffrey Laurent

Allen J. Laurent, 57, Algoma, died unexpectedly Sunday April 14, 2013 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. Allen was born July 23, 1955 in Algoma to Victor and Verna (Wilke) Laurent. Allen was a graduate of the Algoma High School. He was a long time employee at the Algoma Hardwoods and was working there at the time of his death. Allen enjoy the time he spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, shooting pool, gardening and playing with his dog Jack. Allen is survived by his significant other Kathy Rader, his two daughters Hillary (Adam) Schellinger, Kenosha; and Courtney (William) Depaz, Green Bay; one son Taylor Laurent, Algoma; one granddaughter Lauren; two sisters Agatha(Eugene) and Rita (Joe), one brother Jeff (Diane), one aunt Ruth and his special friends Jack and Steph, Ken and Toni, and Jim. He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Verna, one brother Gerald and two sisters Rosemary and Laurabelle. Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, from 4 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 until the Prayer Service at 7 p.m. with Rev. John Moll officiating.
